At Rose Hill Elementary School, we believe that a positive school community helps every student thrive. Through our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative, we teach and reinforce the behaviors that help our students succeed both academically and socially.
Our students follow five important expectations known as R.O.C.K.S.: Be Respectful • Be On-Task • Be Collaborative • Be Kind • Be Safe
These expectations are taught, modeled, and celebrated throughout the school day. Students practice them during morning meeting circles, and in classrooms, the lunchroom, specials, and they see reminders posted throughout the building as they transition from place to place. At Rose Hill, we are proud to grow students who show what it means to be a Rose Hill Mustang who ROCKS!
Families play an important role in this work. We encourage you to talk with your child about how they are showing the ROCKS expectations at school each day. Together, we can build a positive school culture where every student feels respected, safe, and ready to learn.
